Dr. Mariam Ter-Petrosyan, PsyD (PSY31182) is a California Licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in behavioral medicine, rehabilitation psychology, and comprehensive psychological assessments. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from UCLA and completed both her Master’s degree in psychology and Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree at the University of La Verne.

Dr. Ter-Petrosyan completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship at Eastern Virginia Medical School within the adult medical inpatient specialization training track. She also completed a two-year APA-accredited postdoctoral fellowship at the Veterans Affairs Long Beach Healthcare System, which was specialty-accredited in Rehabilitation Psychology and focused on working with individuals with acquired physical disabilities, complex medical conditions, and functional impairments.

Currently, Dr. Ter-Petrosyan provides comprehensive psychological assessment services in California, including pre-surgical psychological evaluations, cognitive and neuropsychological assessments, and evaluations related to medical, neurological, and rehabilitation-related conditions. Her clinical approach integrates psychological science with an understanding of the mind–body connection to support accurate diagnosis and meaningful treatment planning.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Ter-Petrosyan serves as an ongoing faculty member at local California community colleges, where she enjoys teaching and sharing her expertise in psychology.

Dr. Ter-Petrosyan offers psychological services in both English and Armenian and is pleased to provide care to bilingual individuals and families throughout California.
