Dr. Arthur Julhakyan, PsyD (PSY36240) is a California Licensed Clinical Psychologist providing psychotherapy services to adults throughout California. He earned his doctoral degree from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University, Los Angeles, and completed both his pre-doctoral and post-doctoral training at a psychiatric hospital, where he gained extensive experience treating depression, anxiety, and severe and chronic mental illness.
Dr. Julhakyan utilizes an integrative therapeutic approach, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Humanistic Therapy, along with additional evidence-based modalities, to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs. His clinical work focuses on helping adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, academic stress, and dissatisfaction with life direction.
He works collaboratively with clients to strengthen motivation, emotional resilience, and coping skills in order to manage the overwhelming demands of daily life. Through the use of mindfulness, lifestyle changes, and cognitive strategies, Dr. Julhakyan supports individuals in building clarity, balance, and psychological well-being. He believes that clients already possess the inner tools necessary for growth and healing, and his role is to help them identify and strengthen those tools.
Dr. Julhakyan provides therapy in both English and Armenian and is pleased to offer bilingual psychological services to individuals and families throughout California.
